Unless you did some weird stuff, the compiler shouldn't even be able to
install without those being installed. I'm pretty sure they're in the
glibc or glibc-devel package, but I could be wrong.

Mac OS X compilers produce Mach-O executables. Linux uses ELF
executables. Without compiling a custom gcc for cross-compiling, it is
not possible to build MkLinux executables on Mac OS X.
