RE: pb1400_expbay flag

I don't know about the flag :(
I have the older CD-ROM which will not work with MkLinux
But I do run it on a 1400cs
I installed from hard disk which had to be HFS not HFS+
I don't have the web address as I did this ~2000
the general method is to copy the mach_servers
folder from the CD -> top level of main disk (Macintosh HD:mach_servers)
I put it in the top window next to the System Folder, dragging from CD to
the Desktop HD icon works too.
I also copied the RedHat/ folder to the hard disk
I used pdisk to find the partitions mac was hda9 root was hda11 in my case
when I repartitioned
and I changed the bootstrap.conf to use the hard disk
I put in the lilo.conf & MkLinux.perf into System Folder: Preferences
and the "Mach Kernel" "MkLinux Booter" into System Folder: Extensions
It came up and I ran a hard disk install.

All this was with the older Pre-R1 system, Pre-R2 I hear has better
kernels/packages
