Hi all,

I'm trying to install Pre-R1 on an 8100/110.
(Actually it's a Radius clone, based on 8100/110).

I downloaded maindisk.img from ftp.mklinux.org,
and /mach_servers/vmlinux+installer on that disc
is dated sep 6 2000, 1:18 am.
After booting into the installer and dropping
into fdisk, each key I press is echoed roughly a dozen
times, making editing in fdisk... rather tricky.

2: If I can boot another vmlinux+installer, I should
put the mach_servers/ folder at the root of my MacOS
partition, *correct*? I've done a few attempts and
booted into, well, something, but errored out
with the 'could not find bootstrap.conf'.
Interestingly, hitting return there also seems to
have the effect of sending a dozen or more returns.

I didnt' find anything like this in the archives,
but I only spent a half-hour or so. Does anyone
remember keyboard issues with:
-the installer?

-x100 or 8100 machines?

Any responses regarding the keyboard behavior
greatly appreciated.
