MPExtractTaskState return -29299

Hi,
Does anyone know why this code would fail, under MacOS-X ???. I was using
10.1.5 at the time

MPTaskInfo taskInfo;
taskInfo.version = kMPTaskInfoVersion;
OSErr err = MPExtractTaskState( MPCurrentTaskID(), kMPTaskStateTaskInfo,
&taskInfo );

I'm getting err = -29299, which is invalid MPCurrentTaskID(), which is
werid, as I'm sending in MPCurrentTaskID return value.

Any ideas ???.
