Hi All,

Apart from writing my own (which I think someone else has done already) - is there a way I can do the reverse of @encode(<type>) to get a string describing the objc type?

Or someone know where this code already might live?

The source code for classdump would be a good place to look.

You can get it here:

  http://www.codethecode.com/Projects/class-dump/download.html

The CDTypeParser class looks like a good place to start.

(Note that classdump is GPL'd, so if your program isn't then you'll need to ask Steve Nygard for a license under more suitable terms.)

Kind regards,

Alastair.
