Question about the notifier

Hi,
I recently inherited a project that was in the process of implementing
Open Transport using TCP but was only half done with very little
documentation. It's a client/server database application that is currently
running on a non-OT AppleTalk.
My main question is regarding how the notifier works; specifically how
to get code that is called outside the notifier to work with the notifier.
Currently if a T_DATA is received in the notifier, a flag is set and the
main program calls a function to read the data. From what I've read, it
appeared that I needed to bracket the read function with a the
OTEnterNotifier and OTLeaveNotifier functions. The program works better with
this, but the client and/or server will still hang up if I try to send too
much data.
I hope this was fairly clear, but I can send some sample code if it'll
help.

Thanks.
