I agree! I've been using Shark for a while and love it. What's so
amazing to me is that it's free! I've been looking into similar tools
for optimizing our Windows products, and it seems like Intel's VTune
would be the closest thing on that side of the fence. However, it's
more expensive than the compiler I'm using, and in order to even
download a demo you have to give them all sorts of personal info so
they can harass you later. So my question is, has anybody used VTune
or any other product for x86 machines, and how did it compare to
using Shark?
