I agree! I've been using Shark for a while and love it. What's so amazing to me is that it's free! I've been looking into similar tools for optimizing our Windows products, and it seems like Intel's VTune would be the closest thing on that side of the fence. However, it's more expensive than the compiler I'm using, and in order to even download a demo you have to give them all sorts of personal info so they can harass you later. So my question is, has anybody used VTune or any other product for x86 machines, and how did it compare to using Shark?

Thanks,
Darrin
