The difference between (b2<<32)|a2 and (b1<<32)|a1 is around 18,450,00
but this number does not correspond to the fourth of the bus clock

What machine is this?  Not every PPC has the time base
run at 1/4th of the bus clock (e.g., PPC970 uses either
1/8th or a fully independent clock).
