Regardless, if OSX no longer supports whichever buggy processors it
were that Jonas mentioned, it would be nice to have a compiler option
that would get rid of those 'frsp's.
For that, you'll have to wait until it no longer supports the G3 nor
the G4 :) It seems to be fixed in the G5 (the 970 at least, don't have
a 970FX system to test), and I understood from the message I forwarded
it only first appeared on the G3. I can reproduce it on my iBook/G4
1GHz.

Dang. I hate backwards compatibility.
Then again, given that G5-exclusive code is likely to become somewhat
common (dedicated 64-bit code paths, etc.), such a G5-specific compiler
option might still make sense, as long as there's some assurance the
bug won't be reintroduced...
What other annoying processor bugs are lurking out there?
