IOM for SCSI Printers

We are considering creating an OS X printer driver for one of our printers,
which uses a raster language over SCSI. It actually advertises itself
as a Process-type device, and as such supports the Receive (0x8)
and Send (0xA) commands, as well as Inquiry, RequestSense, etc.

Does anyone know of a commercially available SCSI IOM?
Would it work with "processor-type" devices (those that return
a Peripheral Device Type of 3 in the Inquiry command's reply)?
