The PPD browser now looks in the user's Library for PPD files, in addition to the System, Local and Classic domains. Note that PPD files should be installed directly in ~/Library/Printers/PPDs/, unlike /System/Library/Printers/PPDs/ and /Library/Printers/PPDs/ which contain subdirectories for localized PPDs. Hi,_______________________________________________
I know that a PPD can be installed in
/library/printers/ppds/contents/resource/<laguage>.lproj/<myppd>.ppd
This way it's for the complete system.
Question: - is it possible to install a PPD on a user base? Install it in
/Users/myuser/Library/Printers?
At the moment the /users/myusers/library/printers/ is completely empty, but
I want to know if it is allowed/possible to install a printer/ppd for a
single user?
Thanks for any help!!!
Joris
