No. Based on my understanding of what you need, my recommendation is to use the queue id instead of the serial number. Under consideration for a future OS release is for PMPrinterGetDeviceURI() to return usb://<mfg>/<mdl>?<ser> for Tioga PMs instead of file:///dev/null. That would give you the printer serial number.
