Is there any descriptor leak in CUPS Filter ?

Is there any descriptor leaks in the existing CUPS filter ? My application
is using pictwpstops. After around 90 print sessions (i.e invocation of
pictwpstops) the system cannot fork the filter any more. This means all the
descriptors are exausted. But my application does not seems to leave any
descriptors open.

Is there any tool through which I can see how many descriptors are opened by
my application. I used 'Activity Monitor' to view the opened files and
could not find any such descriptor leaks in there.
