Re: Panther USB Queue Creation

Hi, Naoki-san.
Thank you for your suggestion.

I compared two PPD files based on your advice.
One is a PPD created through Printer Setup Utility(PSU).
The other is one created by auto queue creation, which requires to add
a printer entry to the default PM cache manually as told in my last mail.

As the result, I found two major differences between them.
1. The PPD by PSU has invalid entries about manufacturer & product names.
2. It includes Japanese strings(as paper size names), though it sets
"LanguageVersion" entry as "English".

As for the first point, I corrected printer name entries in my PM
to let the resultant PPD have the same entries as that by auto queue
creation.
However, it didn't help.
With second point, I tried switching my language environment to English
through System Preferences, which didn't help either.

Now, I'm at a loss what prevents auto queue creation of my printer.
Is there any requirement for Tioga PM to enable it?

Regards,
K.Mino
