Re: regd lpd backend



CUPS in general doesn't support bidirectional yet (coming soon in 1.2)
but the Apple versions of the socket, usb and pap backends do. By using
exec(3) to launch these you can read the data from their stdout. This
is what Printer Setup Utility does to auto setup pap based printers.

Deepak, You'll have to say more about how you're using the backend to
figure out why it's not working.

[demime 0.98b removed an attachment of type application/pkcs7-signature which had a name of smime.p7s]
