I'm trying to create a virtual printer. Here is the process that I
follow:
1- Launch Printer Setup Utility
2- Press "Add"
3- Select "IP printing"
4- Create the printer with the following parameters
* Protocol: IPP Printing Protocol
* Address: localhost
* Queue:
* Name: My Virtual Printer Name
* Location:
* Print via: Generic Postscript Printer
The field names may be incorrect since I translated them; sorry for
that.
5- Press "Add".
Now, when I'm trying to print any document with this printer, the
document stays in the queue, and the printer is seen as "stopped" in
the printer list viewed in the Printer Setup Utility. If I try to
relaunch the printing, the printer stops itself after a few seconds
and the document is still in the queue.
What am I doing wrong ?
