No, those attributes are specific to the CUPS DDK drivers; the drivers themselves convert from OSX-supported colorspaces (W, K, RGB, and CMYK) to device colorspaces, and then dither as needed.

OSX 10.3.x supports the (separate) cupsICCProfile attribute which
allows you to use ICC profiles in the RIP stage (the driver then
gets device-specific color data...)
