Re: kPMReverseOrderKey

The answer is yes, kPMReverseOrderKey is no longer in PMTicket.h because it is not used. This key was never used by the printing system implementation. When we implemented reverse order printing in Panther (10.3) we decided to use a different key, one with semantics that closely match those features in CUPS.

From the PMTicket.h header file:

PMTicket.h:#define kPMOutputOrderKey CFSTR(kPMOutputOrderStr) /* CFString, Reverse or Normal. default is Printer Specific */

As the header file says, the type stored in this key is a CFString and the recognized values are CFSTR("Reverse") and CFSTR("Normal").

Hope this helps,
David

Hi,

I am trying to get a CodeWarrior 8.3 project to compile on OSX 10.3.6 in
CodeWarrior 9.3 that uses the Tioga based printer modules

I have found that the variable kPMReverseOrderKey appears to have been
removed from the PMTicket.h file.

I think it has been replaced by kPMOutputOrderKey but does anyone know
if this is true and if it has been replaced if the functionality of
PMTicketSetBoolean is still the same now that it used kPMOutputOrderKey
and not kPMReverseOrderKey?

Thanks,

Emma
