I'm not sure about that, but you definitely need to quit and re-
launch the app you are displaying the PDE in. Once the PDEs are
loaded, they are there for the life of the application.

Is this true? How is it possible? Is this documented somewhere?
BTW, I am still putting my PDE in "/Library/Printers/PPD Plugins"
because I don't have any mechanism yet to automate modifying all
the possible PPD files.
