Hi,
At the present time the Duplex panel uses None as its default value. I
agree this is suboptimal and we should consider using the PPD's
default in the future. Please file a Radar so we can track this.
Note that the Duplex panel does respect saved settings so users can
choose a duplexing option and save it with a saved print setting.
