I am trying to make Star TSP800 receipt printer to print the text properly.

By editing /usr/share/cups/model/C/tsp800.ppd.gz file so that the default paper size defined in the PPD file is 104mmx2000mm.

But in Print & Fax, the default paper size does not display the receipt paper size. So, I wanted to edit the file /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/PrintCore.framework/Versions/A/Resources/PaperInfo.xml to add a receipt paper size.

What do I need to do?

Right now, the receipt prints in very small font and it looks as though it is printed in US Letter size paper and scaled down to fit the receipt paper width.

Has anyone seen this?
