This is true if it is an application supplied PDE. In Leopard, the
Copies/Pages PDE is always visible in the expanded print dialog and in
the lower part of the dialog the other PDEs appear. If you have an
application PDE then it will be visible when the user brings up the
print dialog in the expanded state.
