My guess is (and this is a total guess, as I'm not sure exactly what
you're doing) that you're sweating a few pixels of antialiasing when
no one else would be able to see the difference. Especially if
you're working at HD...
Not only that, but if you're working interlaced, there's a good chance
that a television won't be able to reproduce it properly without lots
of flickering.
