Re: Motion - Antialiasing off

Oh, for just drawing a line. Yes, you can. Just set the render mode to "Draft". It's in the "View" popup menu in the toolbar:

Hi,

our client complains that he is unable to draw a sharp line in Motion. It is not matter of importing media. Please find enclosed captured screen. Line is not sharp, it is antialiased and I can't find the option to change it (switch antialiasing off). It is the line that I drown manually in Motion.

Is there any option to turn off anti-aliasing in Motion? Every "single line" is imported and draw as group of pixels with some blur. I can't find option to turn off this feature. It is easy to examine by changing view to 800% and draw a sample line.

Can you describe in more detail what you are doing? I don't understand what you mean by "Every 'single line' is imported and drawn..." How are you importing these lines? What type of files contain them? Also, what are your project and view settings? Is this a progressive project or interlaced?

Thanks,
Darrin
