Coloring (in) Buttons

Hi,

I have buttons. 110 of them to be precise.

I want to color them based on an array I've set up elsewhere (if "Man"
make the color red, if "Woman" make the color green, etc.).

I can find no way, however, of coloring buttons _or_ the title text of
the buttons.

The only "hack" I can see is to use TIFF images, hide the titles, and
draw text (the title) on top of the TIFF... But for 110 buttons, that'd be
_awfully_ tedious. Whenever a user moved the window, everything would have
to draw itself all over again.

So... Is there some way to color my buttons, or at least the text on
them?
