IB to PB and back

--
Hi,

I'm new to the Apple dev.tools (learning Java) and I must say that I'm very disappointed by the documentation. There is so much but little useful.

My question :
I make a new project in Project Builder (Java Cocoa app). I make an interface design in Interface Builder (easy) for this application. I make the java class from IB. I go and put my code into the app in Project Builder. Suddenly I find that I need to change something in the Interface (extra button, field property or whatever) so I go back to IB and make the changes. So far so good. Now I get into trouble : if I make again the java class (with the new interface things) , I can only do that AFTER I was prompted to throw away my original java class file in PB (the one with my additional coding). By doing that I loose all my coding every time I make a change in my Interface. Of course I could copy and paste, but as the app gets more complex, that seems a very untidy way to go. Moreover, if I do it like this, 90% of the time something goes wrong at the point of making a new java class in IB (either IB crashes or shows only 1 file in the save dialog in stead of 2). It's been bugging me for 2 weeks now, so I'd be very grateful with some help. Moreover, if someone knows the url of a GOOG tutorial or manual on (especially) IB and PB, I'd be glad. I just think that the Temp Converter Tutorial is a decent tutorial to learn these progs. Shame on Apple.

I know that there is some info about IB on the net (reachable from withing IB), but I can only access the net from my labtop (sys. 9.1 only) and not from the machine I do the coding on, so I have no clue where to go (no clues from Google either).

Thanks to all, Beat Cornaz.
