I'm currently working my way through _Learning Cocoa with Objective-C_ by James Duncan Davidson & Apple, and though I realize that many of the skills I'm learning will transfer, I'm curious as to what sort of resources will be available to assist a fairly new developer with the transition. :)

We are (including everyone else who has published books) currently working on figuring out the answer to that question. When I saw Xcode come up in the WWDC keynote, I knew that we were going to have to aim at revving LCwObjC sooner rather than later to take the new tools into account and best present the material in the face of a new toolset.

Xcode sounds like it will be going final at about the same time as Panther, so I'd expect that you'll see resources in book form start to appear at that point. Until then, I hope that Apple helps out with documentation and what not.
