Custom Carbon palettes?

Hello all,

Is there a way of creating an Interface Builder palette for Carbon controls? There are some HIToolbox controls that I'd like to be able to place in my nib files, but must create programatically because they aren't in IB's built-in Carbon palettes. Likewise for my own custom controls.

I wouldn't even mind having to code the palette myself; is that possible? I've had a quick look at the headers in InterfaceBuilder.framework, and I confess I don't know where to start.
