Localized strings in bundle

Hi,

I've written a plugin for a host application which can use Carbon bundles + some custom loading code. Its plugin mechanism has been updated from the traditional MacOS 7-9 means of using shared libraries and it still supports them. Although it supports bundled plugins, and is an application package, it currently does not use nibs or localized strings. Our plugins are located in a folder which is not in the application package.

Now I've localized my bundle for German (thanks for some remarks in the archives about how to do this in the Info panel) but when I switch my system to German, the plugin does not utilize the localized strings.

So I wonder: If the host app isn't really localized then will it always load my English strings?
