This question has probably already been asked here before.
How does one reconcile the newer Quartz paradigms and contexts to older
APIs such as the Carbon Control Manager? For example, I can use an
HIView or other HI Toolbox routines and structures in Carbon, but if
those structures require older QuickDraw things like Rects, how to
reconcile the two? Do I have to do transforms manually every time
between the Quartz system and older APIs?
