Hi, - I would like to control keynote slide show programatically. Microsoft has something called VBA or office automation for this purpose. I am not sure whether apple has similar/parallel mechanism. - I have found that during a keynote slide show, the graphics encoding is strange. Although both keynote and officex are using the quartz engine, apparently, they are using different encoding. I grabbed the content of the framebuffer using core graphics package's functions, such as CGRegisterScreenRefreshCallback, and then sent them to another device for display. For keynote edit mode, this scheme works fine, but for slide show mode, this fails. Thus, keynote appears to be using a different encoding scheme for the slide show mode than what it uses for edit mode. Does anyone knows other approaches to get the desktop display contents? Thanks and nest, James
