There has never been a mechanism available to write out Device colors
in PDF documents.
Well, this is not true. CMYK colors were device-dependent all the time
and still are in Tiger (and thanks very much for this feature,
otherwise lots of things would break), at least for Cocoa apps.
If I am wrong, please correct me...
And, since non-tagged CMYK is device-dependent now, if you change it
into calibrated, I repeat, lots of things will break...
If you could clarify the CMYK situation, I would be very thankful,
since it seems that CMYK is treated differently than other spaces, e.g.
RGB.
