After further experimentation, it appears that it's not the import routines that changed. Rather, the Leopard version of Preview saves annotated PDFs differently than the Tiger version did.


I'd still like to know whether it's possible to take a PDF that was annotated with the Leopard version of Preview, and import the image *with annotations* without jumping through too many hoops.
