Is there a way to get the "brightness" of an RGB color, that is a percent of white in the color? Basically I need to know if a color contains so much white (brightness) that drawing white text over it will be not readable and the program can switch to black automatically. Is it possible to make this kind of guess based on color values? Thanks for any ideas.
