I'm having a similar problem, using applescript to update a folder of images that are then viewed in QC. I haven't been able to see the new images unless I quit QC and open it again. I'm a beginner and just using a modified basic slideshow patch. Thanks for any ideas you may have on how to fix this.

Hi All,
I thought I'd put out this request again as it's been a while since I last asked. I've been needing to create a "hot folder" (using folder actions or automator) setup so that any images added to it automatically get inserted into a Quartz Comp. I've tried using the slideshow method, but QC only seems to be able to generate the XML URL list once and then it seemingly can't be refreshed.
If anyone has any solutions for this, I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks in advance!
J
