directory access

Hi all. I'd like to give the riptidefx group access to QuartzComposer/Projects/Music Visualizers.
Is there a way i can do this using the group id much in the same way i granted the group access to the ITunes Vizualizer page on our wiki.
Also, i gave the group riptidefx and QuartzComposer-Proj-Riptide access to the wiki. Is this the correct procedure? The Riptide wiki page
is blank and there are no current members of QuartzComposer-Proj- Riptide. What is the purpose of the QuartzComposer-Proj-Riptide group?
