Re: output for 3 monitors

hi,

for whoever's interested or stumbles across this thread in the future;

i just succesfully hooked-up the tripplehead2go with a 2x2Ghz G5.
works great with QC.
i run a single 17"/1280x1024 flatpanel on one port, and 3 smaller ones using the 3head 2go with a total resolution of 2400x600 on the other.

sadly the performance of the graphics-card (geforce 6600LE) is quite disappointing.
using qc fullscreen, it barely plays 3 dv-files at 30 fps. (3x image with movie, connected to 3 billboards set to exactly fill the dimensions). fps drops to 20 or 15 quite easy when doing some additional rendering..

would anyone have an idea where/how this could be optimized?

anyway, this device is pretty cool..

(sorry for this commercial:) . arri
