I want this functionality back as well.... Surely we dont want to sandbox qc so much that it
loses power.
what about allowing different functions when qc is running inside qc player or as standalone
or in an application?
when qc is integrated into a program it has potential access to the file system that any other
binary has so the security issues are much less of an issue.
give us back qc patch loading someother method please!
