Need to us qtz for final cut editing

Hi I have several qtz animation I would like to us and edit with final cut. If I export a mov from quartz composer and then us a codec no matter which codec I us quality is lost. I achieve better quality if I us a screen capturing program like Snapz and capture the viewer from quartz composer. Is there a better way. Which codec should one use or how can a quartz composition be converted so it can be used with editing programs like final cut or imovie so there is no quality loss.
