Smoothing?

Hi all.

I'm a two week user of Quartz, I use it with VDMX to create audio reactive visuals for VJ'ing. I am loving it, and hope to integrate it with Processing soon.

Anyway, I wonder if there is a way to smooth inputs/outputs? For example, if you have a cube's size linked to an Audio Input it is a direct connection, and so the size jitters. Is there a way to smooth this motion over time?
