Anyway, I wonder if there is a way to smooth inputs/outputs? For example, if you have a cube's size linked to an Audio Input it is a direct connection, and so the size jitters. Is there a way to smooth this motion over time?

You could make a rolling-average javascript node that processes the audio input. This is a bt tricky, because you need to do some trickery with JS to be persistent across frames.
