Re: Compatibility of Tiger/Leopard

Hi Christopher,

Does that mean I have to keep a working copy of Tiger to produce full featured quartz compositions that work on both?

It looks like this might be the case. Several of the Leopard patches have modified inputs, modified behaviour, and modified outputs. Basic QCs would work in both, but you should check.

Actually this is my problem. only VERY basic ones work. NONE of my Quartz compositions that I need for work (and that have to run under Leopard and Tiger) work, they are all marked as not backward compatible.
I mean Particle Systems and Javascript are declared as not compatible.
So I would love to hear from a solution from Apple other stay on Tiger for development.

I hope I don't come off as to rude, but this is actually a major-major issue for me. At this moment I really wished tiger would run in parallels :-(.

All the best
   Christoph
