No, I'm suggesting that he use one sprite for each flat face of the wedge, and a series of narrow sprites around the arc. Nothing inside of the volume of the wedge.


it's worth a shot, but you may end up needing to just write the
procedural geometry code yourself using openGL.

That may or may not prove easier to do.
