QC composition help

I'm trying to make a simple QC composition in which a GIF image of a square (w/alpha) starts at the center of the screen at size 0, then becomes larger and larger until finally it zooms out off the screen. This is repeated about 1/4 of the way with another, and another, ad infinitum (and ad nauseum!) The net effect is sort of a tunnel of squares you're going through.

While I can figure out how to hook an image up to a billboard with a sawtooth LFO feeding into the "width" parameter, giving me the initial zooming square, how do I make the other squares appear in close orderly succession?
