1. Is there a way to have the screensaver play an mp3 (or aiff) file? How can we "attach" a sound file to a screensaver in QC?

No. You would need to write a regular screen saver project in Xcode, play the QC composition in the screen saver view using a QCRenderer and play your audio in parallel

2. Is there a way to have each of the 6 faces of the cube display a DIFFERENT movie (.mov) or jpeg?


Yes, just use multiple image importers or image from movie patches
