User-agent: Internet Messaging Program (IMP) 3.2.1
Good day, everybody.
I've started writing up short summaries of threads that occur in this list on
http://quartzcomposer.wikispaces.org/Mailing+List+Notes
I wanted to check that this was ok with everyone: I'm not going to put people's
email addresses up for spam spidering, but I will try to include credit for
ideas on the pages (unless it seems to be getting in the way of explaining the
core thread).
I know that posts to the mail list are already publically accessible from
lists.apple.com, and so everyone here has implicitly agreed to their posts being
put on the web, but it seemed impolite to summarise and republish people's ideas
without asking!
If anyone thinks this is not a good idea, please let me know. I just prefer to
write up a quick summary and delete the messages from my inbox, so that I can
get to all the relevant info from a discussion without having to trawl archived
messages. Spotlight is nice and all, but it can't summarise/organise/cross-
reference threads like a wiki can. At least, not yet :)
Ideally, if there are no objections, there could be a few of us on the list
taking the 'minutes' of the list on the wiki. [Hint hint ;)]
Luke
