Re: Best way to produce smooth random motion




I think this Random issue needs to be solved by exposing the seed in the Random patch settings (accessible via the Inspector). Given this, it exposes (albeit not in the most obvious way) the seed value that gets copied, and thus why it gets copied. It allows the developer to force two Random patches to either emit the same stream or not, without reconnecting the patch inputs and outputs. And finally, it allows a developer to adjust the seed in case a particular random stream just emits "bad" values for a particular context.


Sending this RFE tothe bug database now.
