loading a folder of images

I have been struggling with how to load a folder of movies into QC, and could not figure out how to do so. Folder Images only returns images and spotlight searches do not return movies.

I had the bright idea of giving all the quicktime movies in the particular folder I wanted to load a .jpg extension, and huzzah, folder images will now return them. So, you can kind of hack it that way. I name my movies test.mov.jpg, so they still have a mov in there and I can see that. Posting it here in case anyone else would find this useful.

Thanks to my partner in crime Paul Wenzel for doing most of the actual work on this.
