I had the bright idea of giving all the quicktime movies in the
particular folder I wanted to load a .jpg extension, and huzzah,
folder images will now return them. So, you can kind of hack it
that way. I name my movies test.mov.jpg, so they still have a mov
in there and I can see that. Posting it here in case anyone else
would find this useful.

Note that you can use String Scanner with a format string like "%
@.jpg" to extract the original movie name / path.
