Is that achievable with a QCRenderer?
Else, could I enable hardware rendering globally while the
application is running, and is there any example code for that?
Unfortunately, none of this is actually possible, as the force-GPU
for Core Image is a per-context setting and not global.
A man with a PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz (ATI Mobility 9700, 128 MB) has 20
fps.
With my iMac G5 (FX 5200, 64 MB) I obtain 2 fps. You say that in case
of FX 5200, CPU is faster than GPU. Then, hypothetically I would
obtain less than 2 fps (vs 20 on a PowerBook!) if Core Image was GPU
based in this tutorial?
I cannot believe this :(
(my apology for bad english, i'm French).
